Why Is There So Much Turnover in Real Estate?

@natale_realtors Why is there so much turnover? It’s simple once you look at the whole industry. It revolves around higher agent count. The more agents there are, brokers make more money, the local associations & MLS’s make more money, NAR makes more money. If there’s a culture of constant recruitment and severe lack of actual training, there’s going to be massive turnover since many won’t last. If the industry wasn’t so easy to get into, there’d be much less turnover. I laugh at this old joke every time: “All you need is a heartbeat and a driver's license, and you can be a Realtor.” Mostly because you see how true it is once you’re in the industry for a few years. A lot drop out though because they can’t make it. I’d argue if there was more of a barrier to entry, there would be far less agents, far less turnover and a much more respected industry. The problem is there would be a lot less money to go around. This is why we launched the REAL School at Natale Realtors. There’s a severe need to get our agents up to speed quickly with what it will actually take to be an agent. If you’re looking to get into real estate or grow your business with a broker who cares about your success, don’t hesitate to contact our team today to set up a call. #realestatebroker #newrealtortips #newrealestateagent #realestate #realtors ♬ original sound – Natale Realtors
